BigBand im Quadrat is a jazz orchestra from the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region — around 20 musicians who have been organizing concerts on a volunteer basis for years. Their existing WordPress site was outdated, slow, and hard to maintain.
What was done
A complete rebuild: migration from WordPress to Astro as the frontend, Strapi as the headless CMS, and Cloudflare Pages for hosting. The design was conceived from scratch — dark, stage-inspired, guided by the feeling of a live concert.
- Website — full redesign, responsive, self-manageable via Strapi

- Table cards — for concert evenings, with a hand-lettered claim: “In good times and bad, let the big band carry you along.”
